Consultants' Collaborative Consortium

The Consultants' Collaborative Consortium (CCC, or C-cube) is a loose affiliation of consultants who would like to work together in helping each other find engagements, or teaming up together to do an engagement. At times, as a consultant, I come across projects that I don't have the skill to do, yet I don't know enough other consultants to whom I can pass the opportunity. Likewise, there are times when I come across an opportunity where I need a multi-talented team to win a project, and I don't have anyone who can team up with me. The vision for the group is simple: we band together to help each other out, and we all prosper together. There are a lot of consulting opportunities out there, and the more eyes and ears we have looking out for each other the better off we all will be. This idea is still in its infancy stage and I'd like your feedback on it. My initial thoughts are that we form a consortium, maybe pay a small membership fee to cover administrative overhead, but definitely pay each other finder/referral fees, we could trade experiences and learn from each other, and most importantly - team up to help each other. Membership is open to any consultant.
